Greg Green’s, The Cannabis Grow Bible

Novice Rating: ★★ (2 stars) - Very dense and not really recommended for a novice user. You can do much worse.  If you were to only have ONE book and to never need a second book or a library, this is that book.

Veteran Rating: ★★★★ (5 stars) - This tome is referenced by the other great names in marijuana growing.  Very dense but guaranteed to get you deeper into your hobby.

I have provided many good books to get you started in your marijuana cultivation knowledge and these books cover a great array of learning styles ranging from classroom instructionals to guerilla techniques and step-by-step how-to manuals.

Presented for the first time is a very dense, deep level book that is so packed with knowledge that it is very intimdating to new growers.  Besides the plethora of information you get out of the other books, this book has a few particularly interesting sections.

Breeding is a topic that is often overlooked by novice growers as that is something that takes a lot of time to do.  While other books may mention some of the larger points, this has an extensive section.  In fact, Greg Green is also the author of The Cannabis Breeder’s Bible (more on that later).

Another great section is the Hash chapter.  While other books stop at sieving and cold water extractions, this book gets into the “Supercritical Fluid Extraction”, the fancy term for Butane Hash Oil (BHO) extraction.

This book is packed full of information, but the layout and the density of content may be intimidating for beginning growers.  After getting some of the basics down and getting a first harvest under your belt, this book is something you will want to move into.  With a foundation and base knowledge, this book is more useful.
